Troy's sister Ashley, born 15 months after that….well, that was a piece of cake. She was born on her due date of May 1, 1983 after an 8 hour labour, with almost no pain….heck, I was busy shaving my legs at home with friends frantically saying "we have to go now!!" My water broke outside the nurses station and a few hours later, there was my precious daughter, born sucking on her two middle fingers. Ashley Rose Lawrence was 8 lbs, 1 oz and 21" long at birth. Today, she is 15 ½ and stands 5’8" with big blue/grey eyes. Yes, sometimes she still sucks her fingers…and I feel truly blessed to have them both.
