Now my 2nd one is a little more interesting. I started having mild contractions during ER :o) nothing that hurt and by 8 the next morning I went ahead and went to the hospital. They hooked me up to the monitors and gave me some pain killers through injections. They broke my water and that is when the "real" contractions started.

Right before my son was getting ready to be born, the nurse was getting ready to give me another injection and she decided not to at the last second, of course I wasn't too thrilled with that. lol... All of a sudden they lost his heart beat, and they though he had moved. So they did a monitor on the top of his head and we really had lost his heart beat. Luckily he was about to be born so I pushed 2 times and he was born at 10:30 am. He came out dark purple with no heart beat. They bagged him for 3 seconds. His Apgar started at 2 and then jumped to 9. He really gave us a scare!!! It turned out that there was a knot in the umbilical cord and when he started to come out he pulled it tight. Thank God he's okay and for that nurse, because if she had given me that last shot they would have had a lot harder time resuscitating him. His birthday is September 22, 1995.
